The Lone Wolf at Pulsar Festival Of Speed

I rode from Mumbai to Aamby Valley today to attend the season two of India’s first ever premiere speed biking festival – Pulsar Festival Of Speed, Mumbai & Pune edition with Connor. (my Pulsar RS 200)

Bajaj Auto. has changed the face of Indian bikers by introducing the ‘PULSAR’ back in early 2000s and now, here we are with best of designs in Race, Streetfighter bike segments like RS 200, NS 200 and more refined engines than ever with triple spark technology, the most comfortable ergonomics and so much more!

The most surprising thing was that all the bikers were invited for the festival without any entry charge, though the track races were exclusive to Pulsar Maniacs. It is a great move to unite all the bikers irrespective of your ride or the brand you follow.

I am not too surprised that Pulsar Festival Of Speed claimed to be all about the THRILL. SCREAM & SPEED. I think they always make claims that are true and genuine 😛

#PulsarFOS was all about insane bikers coming together for celebrating the spirit of race biking. There were drag races, circuit races, stunt clinics, DIY zone, activity areas, burnout zones and even Indian Ocean closing the festival to point out some few activities. The Bajaj crew ensured the safety of racers by providing safety gears to the racers which was really impressive because we Indians tend to think that safety is an accessory, whereas it is a necessity.

The 8 winners of these track races from Mumbai will be trained by professional racing experts at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and they will stand a chance to battle it all out in the grand finale at The Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore on 9th April, 2017.

The winner of the grand finale gets Rs.50,000/- followed by INR 25,000/- for runner up and INR 15,000/- for 2nd runner up for each segment of Pulsar i.e RS 200, NS 200/AS 200 & Pulsar 220.

I really look forward to attend the next season of Pulsar Festival of Speed and probably also take part in the drag racing. Big ups to all the bikers who attended the festival 🙂
