Top 5 International Acts to look out for at Sunburn Hills

The party month of the year is here! Sunburn Hills travels to Pune this year and I think things are only going to get better. After attending Sunburn Festival near the beaches of Goa, the party is moving up to the hills.

The lineup to mark the 10th year anniversary of Sunburn Festival is mad. Plus the festival hosts series of activities like camping, jam sessions, yoga/aerobics sessions (to make up for that extra booze calories), barbecue, movie screenings and so much more apart from the astonishing music festival. It just keeps getting better.

Since the lineup is insanely good and fanatical, I have sorted out the list of top 5 acts that you can’t afford to miss at any costs.

Artists ranging from crème-de-la-crème of mainstream stages to the craziest, insane artists from underground foot stomping clubs. Here they are!

1. Armin van Buuren – Trance

Often called as the ‘God of Trance’ and 5 times winner of DJ Mag Polls. Armin van Buuren’s has always been too smart and edgy with his music. Van Buuren has completed 793 successful episodes of his weekly radio show A State Of Trance – ASOT. In his latest episode, Armin van Buuren collaborated with psy masters Vini Vici and Hilight Tribe for this trippy track called THE GREAT SPIRIT. Look out for this groovy one

 2. Axwell /\ Ingrosso – House

The 2/3rd of the legendary house act Swedish House Mafia. I personally feel that these guys come up with the best of the melodic house tracks. Axwell /\ Ingrosso are making their way back to Sunburn Festival after a year. Last year, their last show in Mumbai was effing crazy. They played the Nasik Dhol Beats during their Mumbai show in 2015 and the crowd went bat-shit crazy! Expect much more fun this year as they normally believe in We Come, We Rave, We Love ♥

3. Eli & Fur – Tech/Deep House

The beautiful deep house duo from London ready to rule our hearts at Sunburn Hills. Have been following their music since 2014 and unarguably they are one of the best in the scene I feel. Definition of their music is pretty simple – The music goes on at 120-125 beats per minute. Some dark, jazzy techno beats infused with deep-voiced soothing lyrics. Trust me, they will make you dance on and on and on and on, on the dance floor! Check out my personal favorite by Eli & Fur 🙂

4. Ajja – Psychedelic Trance

Ajja means Miracle in Arabic, his music is nothing different than that. Ajja’s music ranges from 140-170 BPM. That’s f***ing crazy, right! If you’re a psy junkie then you can’t miss his set for anything else in the world. If you aren’t a psy junkie then there’s nothing better than this for starters in psy. Just go, close your eyes, stomp your feet on melodies created with high tempo riffs and let go. I am 100% sure that you’ll love the experience. Check this one out, a blast from the past 😉

5. Angerfist – Hardstyle/Hard Techno

The name itself speaks the 1000 emotions. This hardstyle act straight from Netherlands is all set to blast the Sunburn Hills, back to hell! The mask donning DJ/Producer Angerfist‘s music represents revolt – anger and venting out your frustration with jumpy, head banging beats infused with distorted sounds and synths. Oh, it’s like dubstep? No, it’s 100x times more energetic and powerful than dubstep or any other electronic music genre. It gives strong competition to death metal though 😀

PS: Don’t forget to carry Relispray or Moov for you neck pain after crazy head banging.

Apart from these, Sunburn Hills have a crazy roster for its 10th anniversary like KSHMR, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, KrewellaBassjackers, Dannic and many others.
